Entrepreneurs, visionaries and self-starters–your big break is arriving now. On Wednesday, May 4th, from 1PM to 5PM, you have the chance to make your passion a reality with UberPITCH.

What is UberPITCH?

UberPITCH is a one-of-a-kind experience for local entrepreneurs in Detroit by providing an opportunity to pitch business ideas to prominent local investors at the tap of a button. Users can request UberPITCH and we’ll bring you one of Detroit’s top investors, ready to hear your big idea.

How does it work?

Download the Uber app.
Enter the promo code PITCHDET in the promotions tab to unlock UberPITCH. UberPITCH will only be visible from 1PM-5PM on May 4th, but you can enter the promo code any time.
On May 4th request a ride from within the UberPITCH zone in Downtown Detroit (pictured below).
If connected to an UberPITCH car will arrive at your location with an investor.
You’ll have 10 minutes to ride with your investor and pitch your idea or start-up. All UberPITCH rides will be free.

Need a place to work during UberPITCH? Check out our partner co-working space, Bamboo Detroit, and work there from 1-5PM on May 4th. If new to Uber, use the promo code PITCHRIDE to also receive two free rides up to $15 each.
